Where is Bheka Phandle? From Hluhluwe to Mbazwane 90 km, from Mbazwane another 10 km to Bheka Phandle. How far from the beach, shops?
Sodwana is in a reserve, under KZN Parks Board. The entrance to the beach lies in the Reserve. The reserve offers camping sites, all other accommodation are outside the Reserve of which the closest is about 4 km away. We are 6 km away. Spar is in Mbazwane, and there is also a hardware store and fuel station. The liquer store is on your way to the beach, where you can also pick up your supply of ice.
About Bheka Phandle Bheka Phandle means “view" / "look out”. We have two beach homes and a flat, on a 80 x 80 m stand well fenced. Each house has 2 bedrooms, but can sleep 6. The flat sleeps 3. The rooms are spacious, and an extra tent can also be pitched if you would have a need for it. What makes Bheka Phandle different? If peace and quiet is what you need to recharge, you would feel at home here. Sit in the lounge and look out on Mgobezeleni Lake, with the sea in the background. With a 270 degrees view, you can enjoy lovely sundowns, and sunrises (if you are up before the sun). It’s away from the hustle and bustle from other holiday makers – if you need the company of the crowds, you may feel a bit lonely! Our staff is known to us for about 20 years now, and is friendly and reliable. The service is included in the quoted price. DSTV can be arranged for R25 per TV set per day. We buy firewood on the way to the beach, or from our neighbours. What is there to do? Diving, snorkelling, fishing, wind and kite surfing, quad bikes, micro light flights, trials. Day trips can be undertaken to Lake Sibaya, Kosi Bay, various game farms/reserves. |
